If you choose to switch to NetBeans, then no problem.

However, I think your problem was probably the infamous button click
problem in the GTK version of Eclipse:

No idea why some people hit this, I've not encountered it on the 2
Ubuntu machines I use.


Also, if you are using the stock Eclipse in Ubuntu (from the
repositories) then make sure you add this to your list of software
sites in the "Install New Software" dialog:

http://download.eclipse.org/releases/galileo

Otherwise you will find there are missing dependencies (annoying, I know.)
