Save the .apk to your SD card or send it to your self in an email. To install you need to allow non-market apks to be installed, Settings -> Applications -> Unknown Sources (check). Use a file browsing utility (search the market for Linda Manager) to navigate to the place where you saved your .apk and install. Your HelloWorld application should appear in your application list with the others.
