Hi there!

This is my first post, so forgive me if I am in the wrong place..

I am in the final stages of completing a web base tool, I would like
to know if there a simple method for creating an Icon that sits on the
Android main UI area, but the Icon would act as a bookmark, so that
when a user clicks on the icon, there is no local app to be executed,
the icon simply launches the web based tool (of course the user must
have web access), kinda like binding a web based tool/service such as
ebay.com or amazon.com to an Icon that sits on Android main UI - does
this makes sense? is it doable without going into another development
cycle?
