Nexus One's skin is WVGA800 (480x800 pixels). It runs Android 2.1 which is API level 7. However, Android 2.1 is backwards compatible with a number of earlier versions depending on your app. I'm about to release a Nexus One version and also a Droid version of my iPhone child support calculator. It runs correctly all the way back to Android 1.6 which is API level 4. However, most of the older Android devices don't have that large a display, so I'm marketing specifically to Nexus One and Droid.
