Hello all I remember having read somewhere in the documentation that Android will restart a crashed service or activity. Now, when I need the details, I can't find anything about it. What I specifically need to know is what guarantees Android gives when it comes to services, activities etc. failing (as in runtime exceptions) - how Android handles this; will it always restart the service or is it my responsibility to keep my services alive, what about activities and stuff like that.
