I think the main difference between those tags is the base framework. For example, the Pixel 2 ones have the power menu you see on the Pixel 2 stock images, the other ones have the traditional power menu like on Nougat.
So it's rather a feature-wise thing than a hardware-wise thing, but correct me if I am wrong.
