A college in Albuquerque, New Mexico is setting up a MARS (acronym) robot platform that is intended be be manipulated by users over the internet.
These are actual roving robots that will traverse a terrain resembling Mars (the planet). Since they are going to be using the internet, why not Google Android? I know the doctor that is in charge of the MARS robots, if anyone would like to develop the remote user interface for use on Android, let me know and I'll introduce you.
