Sorry if this has been asked before (I couldn't see anything on it at first glance). I was wondering what kind of hardware spec the emulators (and the app) will be running on.
Our submission (Mercury, a calendar app) has lots of fluid animation and was developed on a core 2 duo Power Book with lots of memory. The value of our app rests on the movement of the smooth UI, so if dinky machines are used (the Android emulator is quite heavy!), it wouldn't look as good. We obviously haven't optimized the app to run on a real device yet at this point. (but it will look good on a device too, once we get to it) Thanks! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Challenge" group.
