If our application makes the qualifier, we will need to staff up with
folks who exhibited the coding elements we need in round 1. Depending
on SDK maturity, and how Google is steering it, we may need a bit more
time for phase two.

As an aside, java may be the best/only language to provide the power
and safety needed to let folks work in this space that is much less
constrained than what Apple is offering. For one coming from Fortran,
AWK and some C, learning Java was/is... a significant time constant,
but I am starting to understand why it was choosen here in a first
hand kind of way.
