I wonder how many people would report to this forum that they have won in round 1? Since only the winners themselves will be contacted it may be that we would not know about most of the winners.
Challengemeter ( http://groups.google.com/group/android-challenge/browse_frm/thread/9f... ) lists only about 8% of the submitted 1788 applications. Based on this ratio, we would only know of 8% * 50 = 4 winning applications. Possible reasons to announce that you won: * You are happy and want to share your joy. * You want to start advertising your application. * You want to attract people who may help you with feedback, suggestions, and testing for round 2. Possible reasons NOT to announce that you won: * You are just too busy and want to spend every remaining minute coding for round 2. * You would like to stay anonymous as long as possible. * You don't want to give competitors an advantage by letting them know that your application is still in the game. So, of the people reading and responding regularly to this forum, would YOU announce it here if you were chosen for round 2?
