I submitted two applications (completely working ones). One requires registration and then login, the other requires login with the userid and password provided in the readme document (for some security reason).
In the past couple days, my server logs show some BRIEF accesses to the two applications. There are some ones registered and logged in the application ONE, but no one login the application TWO (or not login successfully, I do not know). It seems to me that whoever judges/tests the applications simply just did not read the readme document to get the userid/password to login the application TWO to see what the application really about. One thing I am 100% sure is that without login to Application TWO, no matter how smart/bright a judge is, s/he will not able to appreciate what the two applications are really about. Therefore, my concern is: Without knowing the judging process (spot check, or not, etc….), I even have not seen (based on my server log) any “judge” has made any reasonable judging/testing progress on my two applications yet so far. Just want to raise my concern now before it is too late. Winning the final 50 is great, but most people will not. However, most people (if not all) will feel calm and be respected if their hard-works have been judged/treated fairly and professionally. Suggestion: To make judging process OPEN: post info about what the judging processes are, and update overall status about the judging process daily (etc. spot checking day, detail checking day, etc….) To make judging process FAIR: Ensure judges have sufficient time to read the documents and run the applications to the level sufficient for judging the applications. (Without reading the document and without login to an application to try it at certain degree, it is definitely not sufficient to judge an application).
