Quoting from Dan M...

"Actually, if I recall correctly the judges are due to have their
scores on the 100 back to us by Wednesday. Then we have to tabulate
the scores, and I think the legal department has to finish their
eligibility review (to make sure no submitters are known terrorists,
and that sort of thing. ;)"

Lets see. Scores done by Wednesday. I'm guessing that was end of day
Wednesday. Then they take the top 50 of that, although I have to
imagine there's some upper level review and tweaking.

Then, after the 50 were (are?) picked, the whole thing has to go to
legal. Say legal got the top 50 today. I imagine Google is
different, but any other company on the earth would laugh at getting
50 of anything through legal in like a day and a half.

However, they could have started that process earlier, from the
highest score down (from the original scores). That way, when the
final 50 were picked, they'd probably have looked at most of them
already.

In summary, its possible, but you won't know till tomorrow ;)
