But they laid out 4 specific criteria. I missed the part that one of
the criteria was "what they want for the operating system".
If that was correct, you are saying google and oha wanted for their OS
to initially have apps like MyCloset, cooking app, call-a-cab and
weather app?

Little kids and whiners? Did you look at some of the losing
applications? Many of the developers for sure are professionals (e.g.
plusminus, peli)

Losing in lottery is easy to accept since we knew that rules were
strictly followed. If they have just said that winners will be
selected by lottery then you will see no whining today.
