we contunue actively working on our 3 submissions (none won) - preparing for ADC II :-) +1 http://lablz.com - WebDev framework that uses domain objects (naked objects - see Wikipedia) modeling approach for 100x speedup of complex WebDev, especially for Mobiles. +1 http://bhoost.com - JavaScript API to Android, implemented an open source WebKit shell. Anybody wants to join this effort? +1 http://NeoYou.org - Web-based mobile social net based on the two products above. Allows developers to buid custom social apps and thus focus on target community, not on infrastructure. Thinking about open sourcing this one too - any interest?
All of the above are pushing Web 2.0 to Android. Although ADC I judges clearly favored Native Apps, we have no doubt Users will mostly favor Web Apps since they do not require installation and upgrades (there are exceptions of course, like many games, VOIP, etc.).
