Highly doubtful. There's hardly a point to making a reference for an API in
book form since it will be outdated almost immediately after it goes to
print, especially at the speed Android is evolving. On top of the fact that
an official reference exists already and any 3rd party author wouldn't have
nearly as much information as the official source, rendering it fairly
useless.

There are many parts of the official docs that could use some attention, but
the key areas are pretty "decent" to me.

Is there something in particular you want clarification on?
