Well, now, that's disturbing. First, try this project: http://github.com/commonsguy/cw-android/tree/master/Maps/NooYawk/ That'll eliminate some coding error as being the source of your difficulty. I expect this app will fail, too, but you never know. If I'm correct, and that app fails, try browsing the Market on the Aria and see if you can download any existing apps that integrate Maps.
