Job Title: SAP FICO Consultant (ONSITE DAY ONE) Location: Plymouth, Michigan Duration: 6-12 Months Plus Job Details: • In the role of SAP FICO Consultant, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your functional proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Definition, Design and Configuration in the SAP Finance and Controlling Area. • You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. • You will also deliver high quality deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Job requirements: • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. • Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO modules with education background as finance domain like MBA / CA. • 10+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO modules with Strong business process knowledge in accounting, finance and controlling. Work experience for manufacturing companies preferably. • Experience in SAP support to handle the ticket queues, understanding of priority, SLA, change management and release management processes • Strong knowledge in General Ledger/Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable/ Bank Accounting / US and Europe taxation / New Asset Accounting, Cost Center accounting, Activity types, internal order maintenance, Budgeting, bank reconciliation, period end closing, payment processing, travel and expense, product costing, Order settlement, Margin reporting, Price variance, standard costing • Strong knowledge of Group reporting and Intercompany matching and reconciliation • Integration knowledge of OpenText VIM, OneSource tax engine, Blackline. • Third party integration knowledge for system such as COUPA, Oracle Transpiration management, and custom build applications • Ability to lead the SAP finance and controlling track and estimate the effort for functional work, plan resources • Ability to guide the client from moving from Custom code development to standard SAP • Expertise in specialized areas of FICO viz.
