*Position: SAP Integration Architect* *Location: Remote with Travel to Client location in New Jersey* *Duration: 6 months Contract to hire* *General Summary:* The Integration Architect plays a leading role in driving business value outcomes in collaboration with Enterprise Architect, Application & Business teams, maintains an understanding of current and emerging technology trends, and sets the roadmap & strategy for leveraging innovation in integration technology with frameworks and best practices. The Integration Architect will be responsible for the integration strategy and framework necessary to provide the common understanding, consistency, and scalable interaction of systems across business domains. They will deliver the enterprise integration architecture to illustrate system boundaries, the services and events owned by those domains, and the publication standards enabling self-service discovery and use of business services. *Job Responsibilities:* Lead integration architecture in IT’s Digital Transformation to ensure alignment between business strategy and solution delivery Lead API strategy / roadmap initiatives while aligning the strategy to the overall IT Enterprise Architecture & business objectives Guide and assist in defining integration patterns built using a reusable API ecosystem with microservices-driven framework, enabling both performance and cost optimization Partner with technical integration team to establish an API organization, API development methodology and selection of API technology components Guide implementation of API management using API management software to include API proxies, mashups, rate limiting, security, analytics, monetization and developer portals Set best practices, standards and metrics for API use Communicate technical and strategic insights from an integration standpoint to business leaders and stakeholders and focus on the expected outcomes Prepare to do significant competitive research and evaluation of enterprise technologies and vendor offerings to stay current Own and maintain the enterprise integration model to assure consistent and intuitive understanding of the service interactions and events that drive business Assure re-use of business services across solution domains Drive integration and real-time innovations across enterprise requirements Partner closely with security compliance teams to ensure exposure of business services are understood, aligned and used appropriately across the enterprise Contribute to architecture services, guiding principles & standards and governance processes Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology and integration best practices Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution Oversee the technology and standards for version control Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business and security architectures Provide technical documentation, mentorship and cross-training to peers and team members.
