Hi all - I'm needing to get my hands on an unlocked device for some development work, and I noticed that the ADP1 is supposedly out of stock until (maybe) early next month. I know someone who is wanting to get rid of their T-Mobile G1, and I'm curious if anyone out there has had experience taking the G1 and doing all the necessary unlocking procedures to the SIM and hardware to allow it to be used an updated just like the ADP1? Is it possible to unlock the phone to the point where one can load the ROM updates HTC provides for the ADP1 as new Android versions come out?
I would like to consider myself lucky and able to get one of the few coming available soon, but I need a backup plan as well. Thanks in advance! --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
