Okay, found the missing line in my AndroidManifest.xml file by digging
deep inside the android code ;-)
To receive these intents you have to set also the data scheme. The
filter should look like this:
<intent-filter>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.PACKAGE_ADDED"></action>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.PACKAGE_CHANGED"></action>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.PACKAGE_REMOVED"></action>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.PACKAGE_REPLACED"></action>
<data android:scheme="package"></data>
</intent-filter>
