I don't understand. The problem is happening before my app is ever triggered so how can any aspect of my code (or my manifest) have any effect? Linda File Manager simply doesn't show my app in its "send to" list. Likewise for GMail attachments by the way. I need to get these *other* apps to show my app in their list of apps to send files to.
Do you understand what I'm saying, I'm not sure I'm explaining it very clearly.
