which suggests that animations cannot be done within an App Widget. However, I'm sure I've seen some App Widgets animating... I have an App Widget which contains an ImageView. When the user clicks on this Widget I would like the ImageView to continuously rotate until a certain task (think synchronization) completes. This can take anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes.
