I too was having trouble installing the SDK packages withen Eclipse SDC and AVG manager.
Messages like ""failed to rename directory or file is locked", then the installer quit and tried the next package. I went to control panel, administration tools (services) and stopped the Norton Internet security and Protected Storage. Note the USB Driver package and the android SDK API 5 documentation installed with out the services shut off. Re-reran SDK- AVG installer from withen Eclipse again.
