I have never developed an app and have very little knowledge of Java. I recently downloaded the tools necessary to create an application for Android 1.5. I used Eclipse to attempt to make a simple app and inserted "@string/hello" into the onClick property and then the property disappeared and I've tried everything from shutting down Eclipse to starting the project over and nothing has worked.
