Hi westmeadboy, i just tried accessing the google sync page from the link you posted and it works fine on my G1 both on WiFi and using China Mobile APN, so maybe its a regional issue too. I'm located in GZ.
Don't get me wrong, I am happy to use this topic for everyone to post their current experiencing with the issues with Android in China, I just want to keep pushing for some official answers too. More posts please, lets keep the momentum here! Ironically the day after starting this post everything has been working fine but as Hong mentioned, its probably just because President Obama is in town, so things may go back to being blocked soon. Any comment Google?
