Can you post a snippet of how you got it working on the emulator? Based on other threads in this group, I'm inclined to think this is not possible, mostly due to various networking limitations of the emulator (http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/ browse_thread/thread/77b45f357ff183d4/defa24b49242d44c? hl=en&lnk=gst&q=jmdns#defa24b49242d44c). I would really like to see some code using jmdns that can resolve a service running separately on the development machine.
