I wanted the phone to communicate with a device that can understand only RS232 COM / serial port.
Since, there is no COM or serial port functionality through android phones, I was planning to use the virtual COM port. Refer: http://www.rovingnetworks.com/documents/firefly.pdf I am hoping to communicate to the virtual COM port via Bluetooth.
