What made you think this? Because in your other post I told you the versionName is basically meaningless as far as updating is concerned. This is only here for you to show some version number to the user. > Any ideas? > Yes. As stated in the other thread, and again here, CONSOLIDATE YOUR APPS INTO ONE. Not only will this save users from having to deal with this nonsense, it will surely make your life easier. I mean are seriously maintaining and updating 120+ apps? What in the world made you think this was a good idea? Do you really manage 120+ eclipse projects, make a change in each one, build each one into it's own APK, and then upload and publish them all one by one? Unless you found some slick way to automate all of that, it sounds like a friggin' nightmare! Also, I have your Chicago apps to compare to my own so I got your update and on top of the spamming I couldn't even tell what the point of the update was. Was it a bug fix? Something new? This is equally annoying as the user has no idea why they just updated. Coupled with the flood of 120 apps it appears you're updating for the sake of getting to the top of the "Just In" list. I assume this is not the case as you appear to be making an effort to rectify the situation, but this is how it's going to look to the general user and it will be all downhill for your apps if it continues. This would imply the Android Market team actually enforces spamming. Look at how long M Star LLC has been spamming with no consequence. Another bullet point on the Android Market is a joke list. I think he's referring to the negative comments people are posting for his (their?) apps specifically for having this many apps flood at once. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TreKing - Chicago transit tracking app for Android-powered devices http://sites.google.com/site/rezmobileapps/treking -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
