Hi all - First of all, I am a longtime java and C# developer and I have been through the tutorials for android (about a year ago). I have finally got my hands on an android phone (N1) and I am enthusiastically trying to learn about how to program it) -
I am sorry to ask such a simple question, but I am getting frustrated and cannot find the answer (I searched previous questions in this forum) in the Eclipse plugin, when creating a layout using the layout editor, how do I get everything to appear in the visual editor? I have two sections "Layout" and "Views" but it seems to me I should be able to see other UI components that I can drag onto my layout- Is there a way to add your own entries to these two lists (for example if I make my own class that implements View? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
