Hi Martin, It's quite logical that you keep ratings even though your application evolves, that's why the version is given in the description in the market. Imagine the scenario : I have crappy ratings, i just change the spelling of a word somewhere in my apps, change version number, then asks a friend to download my app and give me 5 stars. All applications would be five stars :)
I solved that very problem by always using the firt to lines of my description to indicates changelogs : "V8.00 - No more bugs, everything works smoothely - Email if you find one" blablabla :) Beside when you put a program as an alpha or beta on the market, then specify it big and bold in the description. "Please do not rate as this is beta only", or something like that. Hope you sort that out. By the way what app is it we are talking about ?
