There seems to be a default inner border in the WebView - it's about 6
pixels all round. How can this be removed so the size matches the
content?
Simple demo (target is Google API 1.6):
public class Main extends Activity {
@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.main);
WebView webview = (WebView) findViewById(R.id.webview);
String html = "<html><body><div style='border:1px #000
solid;width:240px;height:200px;'/>Test</div></body></html>";
webview.loadData(html, "text/html", "utf-8");
}
}
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/
android"
android:orientation="vertical"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
>
<WebView
android:id="@+id/webview"
android:layout_height="200dip"
android:layout_width="240dip"
android:scrollbars="none"
/>
</LinearLayout>
