Hello group, I am new to Android, thinking about developing for the system. Since I couldn't find a qualified answer on the web, I'd like to ask about the "real-world" compatibility of Android installations on different mobile devices. From my experience working with Java, Windows Mobile and Palm OS, I know that theoretical compatibility and reality sometimes differ drastically. So what is your experience in compatibility? How much effort do you have to put into adjusting an application for a new device? Maybe the answer to this is pretty obvious and I just didn't look hard enough, in that case I'd ask for links to further information on this. Thanks a lot in advance! ceem
