I just wanted to point out that I was able to verify immediately that the email was legit because google.com implements DKIM and gmail also implements the technology to support the lookup. Upon clicking details at the top of the email I saw a textual confirmation that this was successfully verified. Hopefully people will see this and then also see the benefit behind implementing DKIM.
