Thank you for your reply, Farha. I tried setting the android:windowSoftInputMode="stateVisible|adjustResize" value. The view does move upwards but the textbox still hides behind the keypad. I am using the webview without scrollview because I have read the webview has a scroll view and it handles scrolling by itself.
