Put this in your manifest:
<receiver android:name=".MyReceiver">
<intent-filter android:priority="10000">
<action android:name="android.intent.action.CAMERA_BUTTON"/>
</intent-filter>
</receiver>
The main element that makes it work, according to Pradeep, is the
'priority' attribute.
Also, putting abortBroadcast() helps, but i'm not sure about that. It
seems that the CAMERA_BUTTON broadcast is un-ordered.
