Hi, I'm trying for a long time to put my adp1 in monitor mode and I can settle with promisc mode... I have searched everywhere and found some discussions about it but couldn't find one that works in 100%. was somebody able to do that? I'm almost desperate... I saw an official note from HTC that the WIFI card support this option, but no more than that... I don't want to steal WiFi, I'm a student in my last year at the university and doing the final project with Android adp1. As part of my project I need to use the functionality of monitor mode or at least promisc mode... I was able to put my adp1 in promisc mode with "busybox" and their ifconfig but I don't get the needed features of this command so I assume that the implementation was not 100% working... I tried to install debian together with my android but i couldn't find stable version. It's very importent for me to be able to do monitor mode or at least working promisc. thanks for helping!
