Under the circumstances, I don't agree. We're so incredibly tightly limited in the text we can use to describe our applications.
And people can easily uninstall the application if they don't like the ads. If we provide a non-ad paid version, they can upgrade instead. There's little downside to the user in an adware version, so it's really not that high a priority to warn them. If you have extra space in your description, sure, it's a good thing to do. It just shouldn't interfere with clearly stating more important things in the description!
