After updating the code to 2.1, I found one solution using the
following code:
d = context.getContentResolver().query( Data.CONTENT_URI,
new String[] {ContactsContract.Contacts.DISPLAY_NAME,
GroupMembership.GROUP_SOURCE_ID,
GroupMembership.GROUP_ROW_ID},
GroupMembership.GROUP_ROW_ID + "=" + groupid + " AND " +
Data.MIMETYPE + "='" +
GroupMembership.CONTENT_ITEM_TYPE + "'",
null,
"DISPLAY_NAME");
This accomplishes one of my goal. But when I try to change the code to
the following everything fails:
d = context.getContentResolver().query( Data.CONTENT_URI,
new String[] {ContactsContract.Contacts.DISPLAY_NAME,
GroupMembership.GROUP_SOURCE_ID,
GroupMembership.GROUP_ROW_ID},
GroupMembership.DisplayName + "=" + name + " AND " +
Data.MIMETYPE + "='" +
GroupMembership.CONTENT_ITEM_TYPE + "'",
null,
"DISPLAY_NAME");
Can anyone point out why it fails and what I can do to correct this.
