That's a bit over the top, imho. Compared to other companies, Google's support in this group, on stackoverflow, and the developer blog usually is surprisingly good, and unlike e.g. with Microsoft, for free, even though it became a bit worse recently. Maybe they're busy with FroYo release or banging their heads that they can't do much to enforce manufacturers not to use outdated systems like 1.5.. ;) But would it really take that much to write a simple mail "Sorry, we had some problems, might take some weeks longer" to all who didn't receive their phones so far? Just a simple sign it hasn't been forgotten... > I understand that being promised > something and not have it show up after so much time is frustrating but > continuing to bitch, moan, and rant in this thread is completely pointless. Of course it it. But it's human... :) > No one from Google is going to respond to you. Well, if you send a mail, you're likely to get a response - the default mail telling you it's coming in 1-2 weeks... > Others' phones are not going to come any faster if you confirm that yours > DID finally arrive. But it's pretty likely others will receive theirs within some days in one country. > Even if the phone never comes, you didn't pay for it so you haven't lost > anything. If you spent your money for something else and now you can't buy a (new) phone, it's very annoying even though. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
