I have a user that is reporting that he can not record on his LG Eve phone at a sample rate greater than 8kHz (8000Hz works, but nothing higher such as 44100, 22050, 11025). Do any of you have an LG Eve phone? Have you tried to use AudioRecord.getMinBufferSize(sampleRateInHz, channelConfig, audioFormat) with a sample rate greater than 8kHz? If it is supported, the getMinBufferSize() call should return a value > 0.
