I want to share data between two android phones, preferably by sending XML files, and I'm hoping for some feedback on what is the best way to do this. The reason I want to use XML is to keep things loosely coupled - this data could then be shared with apps on other platforms etc.
One method I'm considering is (assuming there will be a standard bluetooth application for sharing files) to dump data from the SQL backend of my application into an XML file, that can then be sent in the same manner as any other file over bluetooth to another phone. I see that android has methods to write to a file, but where will this file live and will I be able to access it from a bluetooth app to then send it? I look forward to hearing any thoughts on this --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
