Hi Megha Thank you for the samples. I'm sorry for bothering you again, but I just tried MediaPlayerTest and "Play Streaming Video" doesn't. I tried on Vista a few days ago, and now on Win-XP but it's the same, I'm getting a java.io.IOException in "mp.prepare()". I'm using: path = "http://daily3gp.com/vids/747.3gp"; as before and this is the only line I changed in your sample (line 77 in MediaPlayer_Video.java).
My SDK is mp5-rc14. Can you try it over there, and/or possibly publish a sample with a real URL of a video included.
