I created a graphical ticker for the Android challenge. It can scroll text and/or graphics and can be rotated 90, 180, or 270 degrees. I submitted it because I found the control to be very useful in some other development I'm doing. It doesn't have to scroll if the text isn't very long. This means it can be used as a rotated TextView replacement.
I have a PDF document that describes the control along with a sample program that makes use of it in various ways. I'm not sure of a good place to upload it online so I brought the topic up here. Has anyone else encountered the need for such a control? Is anyone interested in something like this? Any ideas of a place to upload it so people could gain access to it?
