Dear All, I'm beginning to feel the impasse frustration. I've been trying to write a (smack) XMPPConnection Service, a local one, running in a different thread than the main one. The smack library does spawn a couple of threads for reading and writing, but I'd like the service to be run totally in itw own.
The client should be able to access the XMPPConnection through the service interface and register callbacks, get the Roster, and handle possible exception that could propagate from the service. Someone would like to shed some light ? Your help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
