I've been playing with the GTalk service, specifically looking at the group chat functionlity. I've noticed that neither the createGroupChatSession nor joinGroupChatSession return the session that's been created and joined.
Has anyone managed to get a multi person chat room working in Android yet? The documentation suggests that calling both functions creates a new session and then creates "a corresponding database chat session entry". I assume that means there's a content provider that contains the valid group chat sessions that I should be querying to obtain the correct IChatSession object but I haven't yet tracked it down.
