I started playing around w/ Android months ago w/o any clear objective, but because I thought there were some cool technologies and the openess of the platform was intriguing. I thought that especially localization, xmpp and sqlite were very promising. Then XMPP turned out to not be xmpp anymore. The openess feels... lacking. where are our sdk updates?
Today I saw an interesting news: WindowsLive on Vivo (Brasil / Telefonica) for R$8,90 / month. That is email, chat, and spaces, on motorola phones. I thought telefonica was part of the google consortium OHA... seems like google is putzing around and the competition already is getting something out there that could preempt googletalk on android. Anybody have thoughts on the matter? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
