"WebViews now support plugins. The location of the plugin is set via WebView.setPluginsPath(). Plugins are native (C/C++) code that implement the NPAPI interface."
I can see the light. Ok, so what does this mean? Well First of all, what is NPAPI? NPAPI is the Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface, included in web browsers such as Safari(Webkit I beleive) and Mozilla Firefox. "The origin of the Netscape plugin functionality started not within Netscape, but at Adobe Systems" ~ wikipedia So does this mean if we get a linux flash plugin from firefox directory, will it work on the web browser? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
