Hi, It would be nice if someone from Google could clarify what happened to it. It was never really part of the API (See http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/browse_thread/thread/4a20afcac178a45d) but a lot of people made use of it and now it's just gone :-(.
Also why is there a method MapView.isRouteDisplayed() we have to override when it's not even possible to display a route?
