Well, what is this android.content.SyncProvider and android.content.SyncableContentProvider? A Virtual Contacts Provider does alot with Sync. That's probably the main thing it does, while reputation etc. is on the server. It may have a special table as part of the provider/database where different apps have their info to do the Syncing. Does that sound like SyncProvider or SyncableContentProvider?
