Hi

When I make a test call using the emulator the phone seems to make a
record of all the calls made.
ie when you look at the recent calls list on the emulator, it knows
when the last calls were made.

But when I interrogate the database file:
/data/data/com.android.providers.contacts/databases/contacts.db
The date column is showing a value of "0" and not the usual Unix time
stamp but there is a record who was called.

This happens also when sending a test SMS message on the database
file:
/data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db
The date column is showing a value of "0" and not the usual Unix time
stamp but there is a record of the sms sent.

Where does Android store this time stamp information on the phone?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
If you have any queries then please dont hesitate to contact me

Kind Regards

Matt
